Stanton D. Weinstein, Life Fellow, was awarded the Distinguished IP Practitioner Award from the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association and a Recognition of Outstanding Leadership Contribution Award from the ABA-IPL Section. The awards were presented to Weinstein at each organizationās meeting in May.
The Distinguished IP Practitioner Award from PIPLA was presented to honor his contributions to the Philadelphia area IP law community and the ABA-IPL Section Recognition of Outstanding Leadership Contribution Award was presented for his work on the ABA-IPL Patent Durability Task Force.
Mr. Weinstein is an intellectual property attorney located near Philadelphia, PA, who is currently self-employed following his retirement in 2016 from an in-house counsel position in the defense electronics industry. He is a past President of PIPLA, where he has also served as an officer, Board Member, and Chair of three committees and is also a past President and officer of the Central New York Patent Law Association.
