Undergraduate Fellowships
Each summer, the ABF hosts 4-5 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows, who work full-time in the ABF offices in Chicago for eight weeks. Selected students act as a research assistants to ABF Research Faculty, where they are introduced to the rewards and demands of a research-oriented career in the field of law and social science.
ABF Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program
The SURF program promotes broader inclusion in the legal profession by breaking down barriers experienced by individuals from diverse backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in the fields of law and social science. Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows Support the ongoing projects of ABF Research Professors, affording them the opportunity to be mentored by and take part in sociolegal research with experienced scholars.
