George B. Donnini, Michigan Fellow, was elected President of the Eastern District of Michigan chapter of the Federal Bar Association. The election took place at the organization’s recent Annual Dinner, on June 7th, 2023.
The Federal Bar Association was founded in 1920 and was created as a professional organization for private attorneys, government lawyers and judges involved in federal practice. There are almost 100 FBA chapters, and they have practitioners in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Mr. Donnini is currently a shareholder at Butzel Long, in their Detroit office, where his practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense. In addition to his involvement in the Federal Bar Association, he formed the Detroit chapter of the Veteran’s Bar Association with a group of other local attorneys.
