Geoff Fehling, District of Columbia Fellow, and Lorie Masters, District of Columbia Life Fellow, recently published “The American Law Institute’s Restatement of the Law, Liability Insurance” in the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.
The article discusses the eight-year development of the Restatement of the Law, Liability Insurance (RLLI), which carries on the traditions of the American Law Institute (ALI) in presenting rigorous scholarship and a synthesis of the views of the law from leaders across the legal profession. Those views include the RLLI’s advisers, members consultative group, council, and other ALI general membership, which reflects the diverse perspective of lawyers and advocates for both insurers and insureds, judges, professors, scholars, insurance brokers, and others.
