Life Fellow Giving Societies
A Fellow becomes a Life Fellow after completing their initial pledge. After achieving Life Fellow status, continued support is optional; however the American Bar Foundation depends upon charitable giving in order to continue and expand its important work.
Giving Societies are opportunities for Life Fellows to continue contributing to the ABF once they have completed their initial pledge. Giving societies are as follows:
A Life Fellow who continues to contribute annually at the level listed below will be designated Sustaining for the fiscal year:
Giving Level | Annual Giving Amount |
Philanthropist Fellow | $1,000 |
Visionary Fellow | $1,000 |
Leadership Fellow | $1,000 |
Benefactor Fellow | $500 |
Patron Fellow | $500 |
Life Fellow | $300 |
Contributions can be pledged over a period of 10 years. Life Fellows who give at the Sustaining Life Fellow level and higher will be recognized in the ABF Annual Report, the Fellows website, and on signage at ABA Annual and Midyear meetings. All Life Fellows are acknowledged in the Fellows Directory.
